PLANNING

Planning is the responsibility of the Borough Council. In making its decisions it will consult with both the County Council (usually regarding road safety) and the Parish Council. When a Parish is approached it is asked whether or not the Parish Council supports the application. The Parish has a limited amount of time to consider the application before it must reply.

If the Parish wishes to object then it must state which of the Government’s Policies* (or Borough’s “Saved Policies”**) it contravenes.
